Cliff Branch Inducted into the Hall of Very Good

The Professional Football Researchers Association has inducted Oakland Raiders' wide receiver Cliff Branch into the Hall of Very Good's Class of 2011.
The announcement stated, in part, "Branch went to four consecutive Pro Bowls (1974-1977) and was three times a consensus first-team All-Pro (1974-76). In Super Bowl XV he had five catches for 69 yards and 2 touchdowns, while in Super Bowl XVIII he had six catches for 94 yards and a touchdown."
Other members of the Hall of Very Good Class of 2011 include Ken Anderson (Bengals), Bobby Dillon (Packers), Cliff Harris (Cowboys), Harold Jackson (Rams, Eagles, Patriots, Vikings, and Seahawks), Andy Russell (Steelers), Lou Saban (linebacker, coach), Tom Sestak (Bills), and Jerry Smith (Redskins).
Each inductee received a certificate. The Professional Football Researchers Association has 331 active members in eight countries of the world. The Class of 2012 did not have an Oakland Raider inducted.
