Oakland Raiders: ESPN Host Colin Cowherd Says He Would Eliminate Raiders from NFL

– Jul 9, 2012

With the talk of NFL teams moving to cities such as Los Angeles, it is easy to wonder who will be the ones to make the move.

However, on Friday morning, one ESPN host took the speculation of the movement of teams way too far, according to Silver and Black Daily.

On his radio show The Herd, ESPN's host of Sports Nation, Colin Cowherd decided to figure out what professional sports teams he would eliminate if he was in charge of each of the leagues.

When he made his way to the NFL, the ESPN Radio host proclaimed that he would eliminate the Buffalo Bills, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Oakland Raiders.

Although Cowherd was obviously having some fun with the idea, the comparing of three franchises that are a combined 0-6 in Super Bowl appearances to an organization that has won 3 Super Bowl Championships in 5 appearances will definitely rub Raider Nation the wrong way.

It will be interesting to see what the reaction of Raiders’ fans will be towards Cowherd when he is on the air next time.
