Happy Birthday to Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford

Stuart Kovacs – Jul 27, 2012

Raider Nation Times would like to wish a Happy 25th Birthday to Oakland Raiders’ wide receiver Jacoby Ford.

Ford has been a favorite of the Raider Nation ever since he was drafted by the team in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

In his rookie season, Ford played in all 16 games. The former Clemson Tiger made in impact on both offense and special teams.

On offense, Ford caught 25 passes for a total of 470 yards with 2 touchdown receptions. Even as a wide receiver he managed to carry the ball 10 times for 155 yards with 2 rushing touchdowns.

Special teams are arguably where Ford made his biggest impact. The West Palm Beach, Florida native accumulated 1280 return yards with 3 touchdown returns.

In 2011, Ford was unfortunately limited to only eight games due to foot and leg injuries. However, even in the limited time, he still made some big plays for the Silver and Black.

The wide receiver still managed to catch 19 passes for 279 yards along with a touchdown. He also had 341 return yards as well as a touchdown.

Obviously at the young age of 25, Ford has many more birthdays ahead of him. Raider Nation Times and the entire Raider Nation hopes that he spends many more of those as a member of the Silver and Black.
