Oakland Raiders: Team Cuts UDFA Safties Chaz Powell and Aaron Henry
Stuart Kovacs – Aug 26, 2012
The Oakland Raiders have cut safety Chaz Powell, according to Twitter page of Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.
Powell, who is an undrafted rookie out of Penn State, joins fellow safety Aaron Henry as players cut by the Raiders so far today.
Powell was signed by the team on May 10 to add depth to the position.
Both Henry and Powell were never expected to make the final 53-man roster for the Raiders as they were both brought in as training camp bodies.
The Raiders need to get their roster to 75 players by tomorrow afternoon so Powell and Henry are just two of nearly 15 players that will be cut.
Raider Nation Times will continue to monitor any player movement.
