Oakland Raiders Cut WR Derek Carrier According to League Source
Stuart Kovacs – Aug 31, 2012
The Oakland Raiders have cut wide receiver Derek Carrier, according to Aaron Wilson’s Twitter page.
Carrier is the first of 22 players that will be cut between now and 6:00 PM PST tonight.
The undrafted rookie out of Beloit was always a long shot to make the team with Darrius Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore, Jacoby Ford, Rod Streater, and Juron Criner having a strong hold on roster spots.
Raider Nation Times will continue to monitor the remainder of cuts throughout the day as the Raiders need to get from 75 players to 53.
