The Oakland Raiders had until 6:00 PM PST on Friday to get their roster trimmed down from 75 players to 53.
The team has officially released the list of players that they have waived.
Linebacker Kaelin Burnett, kicker Eddy Carmona, wide receiver Derek Carrier, wide receiver Brandon Carswell, defensive end Hall Davis, tight end Kyle Efaw, defensive lineman Dominique Hamilton, offensive lineman Kevin Haslam, offensive lineman Nick Howell, linebacker Chad Kilgore, offensive lineman Dan Knapp, wide receiver Eddie McGee, center Colin Miller, running back Lonyae Miller, wide receiver Travionte Session, linebacker Nathan Stupar, and safety Curtis Taylor have all been released.
Wide receiver Roscoe Parrish’s contract was terminated by the team.
Tight End Tory Humphrey (hamstring), punter Marquette King (toe), and safety Brandon Underwood (hip/groin) were all placed on the reserve/injured list due to injuries.
The decision was finally made to place linebacker Aaron Curry on the physically unable to perform list due to his ailing knees. Curry won’t be available to return to the Raiders until after Week 6.
The Raiders now have their 53-man roster to start the 2012 NFL season.
