WR Derek Hagan an Oakland Raider Again!
John Doublin – Sep 5, 2012
According to his Twitter page, wide receiver Derek Hagan has signed with the Oakland Raiders for a second stint with the Silver and Black.
Hagan was with the Raiders in 2011 in which he caught 11 passes for 114 yards in just six games of action.
Hagan was released following the 2011 season, but failed to catch on elsewhere. Hagan is starting his sixth season in the NFL. He's bounced around from the Dolphins to the Giants, then to the Bills and on to the Raiders.
Hagan has a total of 109 catches for 1,221 yards and six touchdowns in his NFL career.
This signing is likely due in part to the rash of minor, nagging injuries that have plagued the Raiders in the offseason and into the preseason. Hagan's signing will shore up that position and provide depth for the upcoming 2012 NFL season.
