Oakland Raiders Long Snapper Jon Condo Making Progress-Will Travel With Team

John Doublin – Sep 14, 2012

Eric Gilmore of CBSSports.com is reporting that Oakland Raiders' long snapper, Jon Condo has passed two of four tests required to be cleared to play.

Condo suffered a mild concussion in the Raiders' Monday night loss to the San Diego Chargers when a teammate inadvertantly kneed him in the side of the head. Condo missed the rest of that game, but returned to practice on Friday.

Reports are suggesting that Condo will travel with the Raiders to Miami to play the Dolphins, but his status is listed as "questionable" and it's likely his availabilty will be a game-time decsision.

As an insurance measure, the Raiders will also have newly signed long snapper, Nick Guess travel with the team. If Condo is unable to suit up, Guess will see his first action as a Raider.

Raider Nation Times will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
