Oakland Raiders Rolando McClain Suffered Concussion Could Miss Game vs Steelers
Elias Trejo – Sep 19, 2012
According to multiple reports Rolando McClain did not participate in practice today because he suffered a concussion during the Dolphins game. According to McClain he doesn't remember when the concussion was suffered. If Oakland has to play without McClain it will be another big blow to a defense that is already dealing with other injuries.
McClain will be watched all week to evaluate his availablility for the weekend. The NFL has installed more strict rules to keep players out of games that have suffered concussions. Jon Condo suffered a concussion during the Chargers game and was able to return on a short week. McClain was not pulled out of the Dolphins game because he didn't know he was concussed. His status will remain uncertain and we'll watch the situation closely as the week gets closer to Sunday.
