Oakland Raiders Darrius Heyward-Bey Carted Off the Field

Darrius Heyward-Bey was carted off the field after a helmet to helmet hit from Ryan Mundy of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was later reported that Heyward-Bey was taken to the Eden Medical Center in Oakland to treat a neck injury. This is Heyward-Bey's second neck injury in two years, last year against the Minnesota Vikings he was taken off the field because of a hit the the back of the head. 

This hit by Mundy was a helmet to helmet hit that should have been flagged by the officials, but unfortunately it was not. Heyward-Bey gave the fans a thumbs up as he was being carted off the field.
