Oakland Raiders Linebacker Aaron Curry Returns to Practice
John Doublin – Oct 18, 2012
The Oakland Raiders have verified that injured linebacker, Aaron Curry has returned to practice this week following a stint on the Physically Unable to Perform, (PUP) list.
Curry injured his knee in an off-season practice back in May of 2012. He was placed on the PUP list after undergoing surgery. It is still unclear if Curry will be ready to take the field this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In a recent interview, Allen stated that Curry "looked good" and "moved around well" Wednesday. "The key is to see how he responds" Thursday.
If Curry is able to play on Sunday, it will certainly give the Raiders' defense more flexibility to stop the Jaguars' solid run game. Perhaps with four healthy linebackers, fans will finally see some of the 3-4 defense many have suggested the Raiders would run this season.
Raider Nation Times will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as they become available.
