Cliff Branch and Lester Hayes are favorites for One Fan:Who is your favorite Oakland Raider?

Damali Binta – May 18, 2012

It was as hot as a desert in Africa in my brick house in Texas on Wednesday. The air conditioning repairman arrived late in the afternoon. He went into the attic, fixed the problem, and we discussed the bill.

Oakland Raiders Free Agency Grades Mean Nothing Right Now

Ron Barajas – Mar 30, 2012

Why does the NFL keep saying the Raiders had a bad FA grade and it will result in a losing season? Question, how far in the playoffs did the Eagles get last year with all the top talent signings they had? That's right...they didn't...yet the Giants who had a F rated FA grade won it all...so think before you cast your grades...the Raiders didn't lose anyone who couldn't be replaced in the lineup...and to quote Herm Edwards "That's why we play the GAMES"

Thoughts From Anthony Garcia

Anthony Garcia – Mar 20, 2012

My opinion is the silver n black are goin to take the AFC WEST by storm, even though the Broncos got Peyton Manning.

Raiders Should Highly Consider Drafting Terrence Ganaway with Mid RD Pick

Gary Bolanos – Mar 28, 2012

Terrence Ganaway is a big bruising yet swift back out of Baylor that the Raiders can really use as a replacement for Michael Bush. He is 6'0" 241lbs, only 4 lbs less than Bush and he can add to that frame. His 2011 stats were: 250 carries, 1547 yrds and 21 TDs. He also averaged a crazy 6.2 yds per carry in 2011, second only to LeMichael James 7.3 yrds per carry, and scored just as many TDs as Trent Richardson and as a 240 pounder, he ran a 4.63 40.

A Different Off-season

Vijay S – Mar 21, 2012

I've been a Raider fan since 1999 when I moved to the Bay Area from India. This offseason is the first time where it feels different and not to mention, finally good to see how Raiders can operate as a modern franchise. There isn't too much drama/distractions, no crazy spending on free agents and in the meantime cleaning up the books of some of our overpaid players such as Routt, Wimbley, Eugene etc. GM McKenzie has made some solid moves on paper and it bears to see how these signings impact the Raiders on the field. The Raiders still have a lot of holes to fill. I see at least another two LBs, an additional OL, DL and maybe a backup QB to be added via the combination of FA and draft. Raiders might have at the most five picks this draft including the comp picks. There are still some good players left in FA to fill our LB holes. Cleaning up the books/cap this year and hoping to build through the draft is the right way to go. Andrew Brandt said yesterday on 95.7FM that FA is the punishment for not drafting well and so far we've seen the active teams doing just that. Everything is looking up and yes, even with the signing of Manning to the Broncos, I do expect the Raiders to compete for the division and possibly win it in 2012.
