This move gives the Oakland Raiders more cap space (About $7 million) to add free agents or resign players who have hit the open market. Meanwhile, Kamerion Wimbley is still on the roster and his contract is set to be fully guaranteed this Thursday. Many believe Wimbley will be released to save additional money if he is not willing to restructure.
