It's Time for Oakland Raiders Rolando McClain to Play like the 8th Overall Pick
Elias Trejo – Feb 9, 2012
Rolando McClain has been making headlines for all of the wrong reasons lately. The former number eight pick of the Oakland Raiders is about to enter his third year in the NFL and it's time he starts playing like a top ten pick. He also needs to clean up his act off the field if he wants to be a player in the NFL. Roger Goodell is holding players accountable for their off-field issues and McClain is now being watched by the league after his recent arrest.
Reggie McKenzie Will Ensure that Oakland Raiders Future Contracts are not "Out of Whack"
Elias Trejo – Feb 7, 2012
Reggie McKenzie thinks some of the contracts on the Raiders roster are "Out of Whack."Â This is nothing new of course, if you ask the 31 other owners in the NFL, they would say the same thing. For years Al Davis gave away big time contracts that made other owners cringe. The contract he gave to Nnamdi Asomugha was one of the many examples of a contract that was "Out of Whack." A cornerback was set to make over $16 million in a season or the average of the top five quarterbacks in the league.

Oakland Raiders Keep Al Saunders…and Continuity
David Wilson – Feb 8, 2012
There was some concern amongst the Raider Nation when it was reported that Greg Knapp had been hired as offensive coordinator. This was not necessarily anything against Knapp himself, but rather from an ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it’ stand point.
Oakland Raiders: Dennis Allen's Coaching Staff Shows a Change of Direction for Offense and Defense.
Elias Trejo – Feb 6, 2012
Dennis Allen has hired Jason Tarver as the Oakland Raiders new defensive coordinator. This comes not long after Allen hired Greg Knapp as Oakland's offensive coordinator. Now that Allen's staff is complete, it appears that the Raiders offense and defense will have a different look than we've seen in recent years. Oakland's offense normally features a vertical passing game that is set up by a power run game. The defense usually has a lot of man to man coverage and they rarely disguise their pass coverage. It appears that all this may change with the new coaches. Let's take a look at a few changes you may see in 2012.
