This is the way it breaks down for me: Hue Jackson calls very good plays that are designed to pick up big yardage, and if the Oakland Raiders execute them they win. If they don’t, they lose. It really is that easy.

The Raiders are coming off a last minute, heartbreaking loss to the Detroit Lions, whilst the Chiefs are coming off an emotional and unlikely win against the previously 13-0 Packers. How both teams react to those results will say a lot about them on Sunday.

Perhaps it is about time for the Raider Nation and the rest of the world to start "Seymouring." Â The Raiders defense let up again late in 2nd half of the game and allowed the Chiefs to drive into field goal range. Everyone in the Raider Nation couldn't believe that the Raiders let another game slip away in the closing seconds, and then the hand of Seymour gave everyone hope on this Christmas Eve day.

This Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs will determine the Oakland Raiders 2011 NFL Season. Win and the Raiders' playoff hopes are still alive—lose and the Raiders are virtually eliminated from the post-season. Needless to say, this game is huge for Raider Nation.

I was teaching a large class about quadratic inequalities. The process has many stages to it. As a problem-solver you must know what to do and when to do it.

When the Oakland Raiders drafted Rolando McClain number eight in the first round in the 2010 draft, the decision received a very positive reaction from many in the Raider Nation, including myself. It was rightly perceived as a commitment by the organization and the coaching staff to correct that consistent weakness of the 21st century Raiders, their run defense.
